Having the strength to hold through any dip, crash, or apocalypse. Your hands are literally made of diamonds and cannot be shaken by mere market volatility.
Example: Down 80%? Diamond hands don't care. Down 90%? Still holding. Portfolio at $0? That's just a discount!
The opposite of diamond hands. These hands crumble at the first sign of red. They sell at the worst possible moment and buy back at the top.
Example: He sold Bitcoin at $30k because he had paper hands. Now it's at $60k and he's crying.
The eternal question. When will your crypto gains be enough to buy a Lamborghini? Spoiler alert: it's always 'soon' but never actually happens.
Example: Bought $100 of DOGE. Wen Lambo?
The ultimate destination for any cryptocurrency. Not just up, but UP UP UP to the literal moon. Physics and market caps don't apply here.
Example: This new memecoin is going to the moon! (It went to zero instead)
Buying a cryptocurrency without doing any research, like an ape randomly pressing buttons. Surprisingly effective sometimes.
Example: I'm aping into this coin because the logo is cute and it has 'Safe' in the name.
Fear Of Missing Out. The feeling that makes you buy at the absolute peak because everyone else is getting rich and you're not invited to the party.
Example: I FOMOed into that coin at the top and now I'm down 70%. Classic.
Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt. Usually spread by people who sold early or missed out entirely. Also known as 'facts' when your coin is actually terrible.
Example: Don't listen to that FUD about our coin being a scam. (It was totally a scam)
Do Your Own Research. What people say right before giving you financial advice that will ruin your life. Ironically, nobody actually does this.
Example: This coin is going 100x! DYOR though. (Narrator: He did not do his own research)
Wrecked. What happens to your portfolio when you make literally any decision in crypto. Past tense: got rekt. Future tense: will get rekt.
Example: I got absolutely rekt on that leverage trade. My portfolio is now worth 3 cents.
Someone with so much crypto they can move markets with a single trade. They're probably the reason your coin just dumped 50% in 5 minutes.
Example: A whale just dumped 10,000 Bitcoin. Time to buy the dip! (It kept dipping)
The classic crypto move: artificially inflate a coin's price, then sell everything to unsuspecting buyers. Totally illegal but somehow happens every day.
Example: That coin was obviously a pump and dump, but I thought I could time it perfectly. (I could not)
Any cryptocurrency that isn't Bitcoin, according to Bitcoin maximalists. Also, any coin you didn't buy that went 1000x.
Example: I called DOGE a shitcoin when it was $0.01. Now it's $0.50 and I'm the shit.
Someone stuck holding a coin that's never going back up. They bought the top and now they're married to their bags forever.
Example: I'm a proud bag holder of 47 different altcoins from 2017. They'll come back... right?
We're All Gonna Make It. The hopium that keeps us going through every crash, rug pull, and market manipulation. Spoiler: we're not all gonna make it.
